Web-Based Project

Another great find over at Solution Watch. They posted an overview of Solodox which provides word processing and what is the closest thing I’ve seen so far to replicating Microsoft Project. I’m personally interested in the project tool since, so far, I have been unimpressed with project management tools available thus far. Albeit I’ve used MS Project in the past and was looking for something similar, so I’m going to be biased to Solodox at this point. I’m looking forward to them working through the issues they noted.

You need to look at Projity. ( http://www.projity.com ) Their whole mission seems to be providing a complete replacement of Microsoft Project. All these other tools are missing real project management features. I am using Project-ON-Demand (projity’s solution) and it is really a complete replacement in my browser, just like advertised !

If you’re looking for a lot of the power of MS Project but without the learning curve and barriers to use, check out Vertabase Pro project management software http://www.vertabase.com There is a nice screen shot tour on the site or request a test drive.
[Disclaimer, I work for them.]

You should also look at @task (http://www.attask.com). @task is a full-featured project management solution that is both powerful and easy to use. @task supports MS Project imports as well.
